Cam Thomas explained that Milwaukee has been a team that wanted him for years, and that was the reason he chose to sign with them after being waived by the Nets.
After the Brooklyn Nets decided to waive guard Cam Thomas, he already found his next career stop, as the 24-year-old is joining Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Thomas believes Milwaukee is the place that wanted him the most over the years, and that was the main reason for his decision.
“I picked Milwaukee because they wanted me, and they told me they’ve been interested for years now. So it’s good to have this opportunity come to fruition. I’m just hoping to meet everybody, get to know everybody, and contribute as soon as possible,” Thomas told Andscape.
This season, Thomas is averaging 15.6 points (39.9% FG, 32.5% 3PT), 1.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists across 24 games.
Meanwhile over the past three seasons he's averaged 21.4 points per game with the Nets.
