With strong transfer rumour smoke surrounding Cole Palmer this winter — including serious interest from Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly setting a £120 million asking price — a blockbuster departure from Stamford Bridge this summer can no longer be ruled out.

At 26, he offers both the physicality and tactical flexibility that Chelsea value, and could slot into a similar role to Palmer, driving transition play and linking sharply with forwards.

Rodgers is quite a player, he is one that fans love to watch on a weekly basis and a player that all the big clubs have been watching ever since he made that move to Aston Villa a few seasons ago.
He is creative, he brings goals and although he is not as clinical as Palmer, he is a player that CHELSEA fans would welcome to the club should his fellow Englishman depart and make a move away.
However – we are hoping that Cole Palmer does not leave the club and we are hoping that he does stay put even if a massive offer arrives during the summer transfer window, and from the big clubs.
We are sure that this is just a rumour, he could e replaced, but we’d prefer that he stayed.
