What Chelsea players really like about Liam Rosenior after fourth successive win in Premier League - journalist

Chelsea managed to pick up another win in the Premier League over the weekend under Liam Rosenior.

It was their fourth consecutive victory in the English top flight since Rosenior’s arrival last month.

Chelsea beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Molineux, with Cole Palmer producing a masterclass against Rob Edwards’ side.

Cole Palmer is the best signing of the Todd Boehly era, there’s no debate 🤩

Palmer scored a first-half hat-trick, his fourth since he joined the club from Manchester City in 2023.

Chelsea players like Liam Rosenior’s ‘human touch’

Right now, it looks like Palmer and the rest of the Chelsea dressing room are really getting along with Rosenior.

According to journalist Rahman Osman, the Chelsea squad like the “human touch” that Rosenior has added following his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

It suggests that the 41-year-old’s man management has been effective, though his critics will argue that this could just be a honeymoon period.

At this moment in time, though, he clearly has the Chelsea dressing room onside.

Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez recently spoke about Rosenior, sharing how much he and his teammates are enjoying working with the former Strasbourg boss.

Liam Rosenior loves watching Cole Palmer

Palmer’s form has picked up under Rosenior. Before his hat-trick at Molineux, the attacking midfielder also provided two assists in Chelsea’s 3-2 win against Napoli in the Champions League.

Unsurprisingly, Rosenior is enjoying watching Palmer play. On the 23-year-old, he said: “Palmer loves playing football, I love watching.”

Had Palmer managed to stay injury-free this term, Chelsea’s season would probably have looked a lot different.

There is still a long way to go before the campaign concludes. If the England international can remain fit and continue scoring goals, Chelsea will have a great chance of finishing in the top four once again. That has to be the main aim for Rosenior and his side, while a good run in the Champions League and FA Cup will not hurt either.
