Fresh off the back of a huge win at Elland Road, Leeds United now have another obstacle in their fight for survival. The Whites are away to Chelsea on Tuesday night, hoping to continue their run of form.
Leeds have continued to surprise everyone since December, after their remarkable turnaround in fortunes. Many had tipped them to be relegated, but they have put themselves in a very strong position early in the second half of the campaign.

Their win over Nottingham Forest came as quite a surprise; losing to Arsenal raised concerns around the club, but they bounced back in fantastic fashion on Friday night. Up next for Daniel Farke and his men are Liam Rosenior and his Chelsea side.
Liam Rosenior makes surprising comments about Marcelo Bielsa
Rosenior recently took charge of the London club, and has impressed so far. What will surprise Leeds fans is that the 41-year old is familiar with the recent history of the Whites. He was a Sky Sports pundit when Marcelo Bielsa was in charge, and had very positive things to say about the Argentine coach back then:
“Wherever he’s gone there’s been an upturn in performance but he just seems to struggle to get over that final hurdle.
“As a coach, the man is a genius. All of Leeds’ key young players will go onto have fine careers.
“When those players look back on their careers, they’ll say the turning point was playing under Bielsa. I think we should be celebrating him – it’s been a pleasure to watch them play.”
It is very impressive how the now Chelsea boss understood what was going on at the club back then. His comments came around the time the team suffered a brutal exit in the play-offs, and his assessment of Bielsa points out that he keenly followed the club.
Leeds United must be cautious ahead of Tuesday night
Liam Rosenior has been in charge for nine games since his appointment, and has won seven of them. This will not be the same Chelsea side that came to Elland Road a couple of months ago and were embarrassed. So Daniel Farke needs to get his team selection and tactics spot on.
Leeds are also away from home on Tuesday night, and they tend to struggle on the road with their best performances all coming at home. Farke has to figure out how to get the team to function like they do at Elland Road, while being good enough defensively.
