Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi’s contract runs out at the end of June. Everton, Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brighton are in the running for him.
The Argentine found game time short in the 2024/25 campaign. Dean Huijsen’s exit to Real Madrid led to him becoming a regular this season, with the 28-year-old having played 24 times in the Premier League.
The only game he’s missed was because of a yellow card suspension.
TuttoJuve’s Mirko di Natale now reports on his future, mentioning Juventus as a candidate. Beyond that, interest from Everton, Crystal Palace and Chelsea is revealed.
The three Premier League sides are the ‘most interested’ in the Argentina international. AS Roma had tried to sign him last summer and remain in the hunt for his signature.
Marco Senesi to have pick of multiple clubs
The chase is expected to be difficult for Everton, Crystal Palace and Chelsea. That is because Borussia Dortmund have also enquired about signing Senesi as a free agent, with the list of suitors growing.
Sport Witness covered Manchester United’s interest in the centre back in January. At that point, Chelsea and Brighton had made initial contact with the player’s entourage. Given Senesi is set to hold free agent status, the interest is likely to be widespread.
Juventus were also pushed at the time, with the possibility of a pre-contract offer on the table. That hasn’t progressed yet, leaving the door open for others.
Senesi’s entourage will be aware that at 28 this may be the last big contract of his career. Therefore, the financial aspect will be a major consideration for the player.
