Leeds United have been handed mixed news on the injury front with two doubts back in contention but one key man ruled out.
There had bene growing concerns over Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ilia Gruev's availability for Tuesday night's match at Chelsea, but those doubts have been brushed aside by manager Daniel Farke. However, the Leeds boss have revealed he will be without Pascal Struijk for the game.
Leeds head to Stamford Bridge to take on a Chelsea side who are reborn under new manager Liam Rosenior. Chelsea have won four games on the bounce in the Premier League and are now closing in on Aston Villa in third place in the table.
The Whites have only lost one of their last four games and travel south buoyed by a hugely important win over relegation rivals Nottingham Forest on Friday night. But they'll do it without a key defender in Struijk.
Asked for his injury news, and in particular Calvert-Lewin and Gruev, Farke said: "It is at the moment that both players seem to be available. Dominic was struggling a little bit with illness but we hope he is not too bad. But in terms of knocks and muscle injuries, there is nothing. Ilia is tough.
"The bad news is Pascal Struijk who will definitely miss this game. He has some problems with his hip flexor and the turnaround is too quick for him to play, so he will definitely miss. Anton Stach will be back for the Villa game, so they both will miss this game, but hopefully everyone else will be available."
Struijk has missed just two of Leeds' league games this season, but is expected to be back in contention to feature in the FA Cup match at Birmingham City this weekend.
