It was on February 9, 2025 that Plymouth Argyle caused one of the biggest FA Cup upsets in history by beating Premier League leaders Liverpool 1-0 at Home Park.
Striker Ryan Hardie was the matchwinning hero with a 54th minute penalty, while goalkeeper Conor Hazard made a couple of terrific late saves to preserve the Pilgrims' narrow advantage until full-time. Click HERE to read the match report.
Twelve months on from that incredible day, much has changed at Argyle, not least the fact that they are now playing in League One after relegation from the Championship last term.

Miron Muslic, who guided the Pilgrims to their incredible victory over Arne Slot's Liverpool, left Home Park last summer to take over at Schalke, who are currently in second spot in Germany's 2. Bundesliga.
Only three of Argyle's starting line-up from their famous FA Cup fourth round defeat of the Reds remain at the club - Hazard, Julio Pleguezuelo and Matty Sorinola, while Malachi Boateng, an ever present for the Pilgrims in League One this season, was a second half substitute.
After beating Liverpool, Argyle went on to take the lead in their fifth round tie away to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium before eventually losing 3-1, but those FA Cup exploits against two of world football's top clubs will have left memories to last a lifetime for the Green Army.
So, 12 months on, what has happened to Argyle's Liverpool conquerors? Plymouth Live reporter Chris Errington has the answers.

Conor Hazard - The Northern Ireland international goalkeeper has had to deal with a couple of injury issues this season and has only played in 18 of Argyle's 30 League One games but could return from a sprained ankle when the Pilgrims travel to play Blackpool next Saturday.
Maksym Talovierov - The imposing centre-back became a cult figure with the Green Army during his short time at Argyle, but after their relegation from the Championship he was always going to leave the club in the summer and he ended up joining Stoke City to stay in the second division of English football. He has gone on to make a total of 11 starts and one substitute appearance.
Nikola Katic - The Bosnia-Herzegovina defender has started 20 of the 21 games for Miron Muslic's Schalke in Germany's 2. Bundesliga. They have dropped to second spot in the table after drawing three and losing one of their four league games since the mid-winter break.
Julio Pleguezuelo - Another of the players still at Argyle a year on from the victory over Liverpool, but the Spanish centre-back has only played six times this season due to knee and calf injuries.
Matty Sorinola - Has played in a number of different positions for the Pilgrims since signing two years ago. Against Liverpool he was the right wing-back in a 3-4-2-1 formation. Sorinola was ruled out of Argyle's 4-1 home League One defeat by Lincoln City on Saturday as he began a two-match ban.
Adam Randell - The Plymouth-born Argyle academy graduate moved to Bristol City last summer and has proved what most people already appreciated - that is an extremely capable Championship player who at the age of 25 can still get better. He has started all 31 of the Robins' league games this season.
Darko Gyabi - After two loan spells at Argyle, Gyabi completed a permanent transfer to Hull City from Leeds United at the end of the 2025 summer transfer window. He suffered a groin injury in January which is expected to keep him out of action for a considerable period of time after making a total of seven starts and 14 substitute appearances for the Tigers.
Tymoteusz Puchacz - The Poland international spent the second half of last season with Argyle from German club Holstein Kiel, and completed another loan move in September when he joined Sabah, who are currently leaders of the Azerbaijan Premier League. Puchacz has played regularly for them, most recently in a 4-1 home win against Araz on Sunday.

Mustapha Bundu - Joined German 2. Bundesliga side Hannover last summer amid interest in him from clubs in a number of countries given his good form for Argyle. The Sierra Leone international recently had a spell out of action due to a knee injury and, so far, he has scored only one goal in 14 league games, 12 of which have been starts.
Callum Wright - Moved to Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan from Argyle last July and will be out of contract this summer. Wright has scored five goals in a total of 28 starts and five substitute appearances for the Latics, who sacked former Pilgrims' boss Ryan Lowe following a 6-1 League One defeat at Peterborough United on Saturday.
Ryan Hardie - The man whose goal secured that incredible win for the Pilgrims against Liverpool completed a transfer to newly-promoted Championship club Wrexham last summer but struggled to get game time before a recent knee injury and, now close to a return to action, he has been loaned to League One promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town until the end of the campaign.
SUBSTITUTES
Malachi Boateng - The midfielder has been an ever present for Argyle in League One this season, starting all 30 of their games under head coach Tom Cleverley.
Michael Obafemi - Now in his third loan spell away from Burnley since the start of 2025. The first was with Argyle and then with Bochum in Germany's 2. Bundesliga for the first half of this season but he made only three substitute appearances for them and last month he completed a move to Blackpool, where he has started in three of his four appearances so far and is set to face the Pilgrims at Bloomfield Road this weekend.
Victor Palsson - The experienced Iceland international defender left Argyle in August to join Danish First Division side AC Horsens on a two-year contract. They are currently in third position ahead of the resumption of their season on February 28 after a winter break.
Muhamed Tijani - Like Michael Obafemi, Tijani is now on a third different loan spell, in his case from Slavia Prague, over the last 14 months. First with Argyle, then with Sigma Olomouc in the Czech Republi and now in Hungary's top flight with Nyiregyhaza. The powerful striker has made a good start there with three goals in as many games for them, including two in a 4-2 home win against MTK Budapest on Sunday.
