Charlotte had acquired Branham from the Washington Wizards just before the February 5 trade deadline, in a three-team, nine-player deal involving Dallas and Washington.
Branham, 22, has averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 17.8 minutes per game over 216 career appearances (61 starts) with San Antonio and Washington.
He was selected 20th overall by the Spurs in the 2022 NBA Draft and spent three seasons with the team before being traded to Washington on July 9, 2025.
