It's too early to know which Premier League positions will guarantee European football just yet, but - after their win at Fulham - Everton are in the mix.
They are eighth, just two points behind sixth-placed rivals Liverpool.
It's been eight years since Everton last tasted European football, with recent seasons more concerned with the threat of relegation.
Speaking before their game with Bournemouth on Tuesday, manager David Moyes said it makes a nice change to conversations around relegation in recent years.
He said: "We don't really say too much. Obviously, I'd rather the talk was about European places than relegation places. Probably the history of the club here for too long has been about relegation places.
"I think we'd all enjoy that talk if it was about European places, but at the moment we've got a long way to go for that to happen.
"But if we can hang in with the teams above us then you just never know."
