Rosenior look to make it five wins in a row against resilient Leeds United

Chelsea hunt for a fifth straight Premier League win as they welcome Leeds United to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

[The Blues secured a comfortable 3-1 victory at rock-bottom Wolverhampton Wanderers](https://thesportstoday.com/2026/02/07/palmer-hits-hat-trick-as-chelsea-beat-bottom-placed-wolves-3-1/) last time out in the Premier League thanks to Cole Palmer’s hat-trick.

The Whites defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 in their last Premier League outing, and they currently sit 16th in the PL standings.

**Match preview**

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League home games against Leeds, winning the last six in a row (D1). Their last defeat was in December 1999, losing 2-0 thanks to a Stephen McPhail brace.

Following their 3-1 win at Elland Road in December, Leeds are looking to complete the league double over Chelsea for the first time since their 1991/92 title-winning campaign.

The Whites are looking to become just the second promoted side to complete the Premier League double over Chelsea, after Charlton Athletic in 2000/01.

The Blues are winless in their three midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Premier League games this season (D1 L2), including a 3-1 loss at Leeds in December.

Leeds haven’t won any of their last seven midweek (Tues, Weds, Thurs) away games in the Premier League (D3 L4), with the Whites conceding 24 goals in these matches (3.4 per game).

Chelsea have won their first two home Premier League matches under Liam Rosenior; he’s looking to become the first Blues boss to win his first three at Stamford Bridge since Maurizio Sarri in September 2018.

Leeds United have won just two of their last 25 away Premier League matches (D6 L17), with both wins coming at Wolves (3-2 in March 2023, 3-1 in September 2025).

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior failed to win either of his two previous meetings with Leeds, drawing 0-0 at home and losing 3-1 away in the 2023/24 Championship campaign. Those were also his only two previous meetings with White’s manager, Daniel Farke.

Jaka Bijol, Ao Tanaka and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were all on target for Leeds in their 3-1 win over Chelsea in December. The last player to score home and away for the club against the Blues in the same campaign was Mark Viduka in 2000/01.

João Pedro has been involved in four goals in his last four home Premier League appearances for Chelsea (3 goals, 1 assist), but he has never scored or assisted against Leeds, losing all three of his top-flight games against the Whites (two with Watford, one with Chelsea).
