Sources: Newcastle star Sandro Tonali ready to reject Man Utd, Arsenal and Man City

Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali is keen on a return to Italy ahead of the summer transfer window, GIVEMESPORT understands.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from St James' Park in recent days, with Athletic journalist David Ornstein confirming contact between an agent and Arsenal on deadline day over a potential swoop for the Italian.

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, the Newcastle star will be at the centre of a Premier League summer transfer battle between the Gunners, Manchester United and Manchester City, but there is more interest too.

One of the options that will be on the table for the £55m midfielder is a Serie A return.

Juventus Keen on Sandro Tonali Deal

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Juventus are interested in Tonali and the former AC Milan midfielder is open to a move back to his former league for personal reasons.

Newcastle are believed to value the 25-year-old proven Premier League star at around at least £80m, with some sources indicating it would take more than £100m for them to enter talks over a sale.

While Tonali wouldn't totally discount interest from the top Premier League clubs, it's understood he would be very keen on a switch to Juve should the opportunity arise.

The Magpies are certainly in a strong position when it comes to potential negotiations, with the Italian's contract at St James' Park running until 2029, with the option of a further year.

Newcastle also remain confident that this situation won't be a repeat of the Alexander Isak one where he forced his way out, with Tonali grateful for how Newcastle dealt with his football ban.

Premier League Interest is Genuine

While Newcastle deny any deadline day contact was made, the interest from Arsenal in the midfielder is genuine.

The Gunners are looking at a summer move for a new player in Tonali's position, which could give more free rein to Declan Rice further up the pitch.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are looking to sign two elite midfielders in the summer transfer window, according to GIVEMESPORT sources, with Tonali a target alongside Brighton and Hove Albion's Carlos Baleba, Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and top target, Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson.

United's arch-rivals City are also keen on both Anderson and Tonali as they prepare for Bernardo Silva's exit this summer, although they may look for more of an enforcer profile midfielder rather than a like-for-like replacement for the Portuguese star.
