According to Clippers beat writer Joey Linn, Frank noted that Garland's right toe is improving, but he's still recovering from surgery on his left toe. The team plans to give him plenty of time to fully heal.
A return doesn't seem imminent. The 26-year-old point guard has been sidelined with a toe injury since January 16.
Garland was traded to the LA Clippers, along with a future second-round pick, from the Cleveland Cavaliers before the February 5 trade deadline, with Cleveland receiving James Harden in return.
This season, Garland has averaged 18.0 points and 6.9 assists over 26 games.
