SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz have signed forward Blake Hinson to a two-way contract.
The team announced the move on Monday after last week’s trade deadline.

Hinson, 26, fills the Jazz’s final two-way roster spot that opened after the team sent rookie John Tonje to the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
The forward signed a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after going unselected in the 2024 draft, but was waived before the regular season began.
Hinson then signed with the Golden State Warriors, appearing in 34 games for their G League affiliate, before joining Portland’s Rip City Remix before the 2025-26 campaign.

In 52 career G League games, the Florida native has averaged 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists while shooting 45 percent from the floor and 36 percent from three.
Hinson has yet to appear in a regular-season NBA game.
The forward will represent the Jazz during the Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
Hinson was named to the G League All-Star roster, will Salt Lake City Stars wing Sean East.

Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady will serve as honorary coaches for the Rising Stars tournament.
The Hall of Famers will draft three seven-player NBA rosters to compete in the four-team, three-game event, which also includes a G League squad.
The tournament airs Feb. 13 on Peacock at 5 p.m. MST.
