When asked how the Lakers compare to a team like the Thunder at this point in the season, LeBron didn't hold back, stating that championship pedigree is the biggest difference between the two teams.
"You want me to compare us to them? That's a championship team right there. We're not," LeBron said. "We can't sustain energy and effort for 48 minutes, and they can. That's why they won a championship."
The loss marked the Lakers' 20th of the season, dropping them to sixth place in the Western Conference with a 32–20 record.
Los Angeles has also been without Luka Doncic in recent games. The star guard is considered day-to-day as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury.
