New Orleans Pelicans / Schedule

Three of the current top six players in made three-pointers this season are not on the participants list for the contest.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo, and New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III will all be absent despite ranking among the league leaders in made threes.

When asked after the Pelicans' 120-94 win over the Kings, Murphy offered a simple explanation for why he won't be competing, saying the decision was not his.

"I would've participated if I was invited," Murphy said, via Will Guillory.

Murphy has made 166 three-pointers this season while shooting 37.8% from beyond the arc.

Through 51 games, he is averaging 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
