And the problems are mounting up in defense for Arne Slot. With Dominik Szoboszlai out suspended, the Liverpool boss will have to find yet another player to cover at right-back, having already suggested Joe Gomez won't be fit enough to start tomorrow.
Slot may be able to give more details on the fitness of Gomez and the rest of his squad as he speaks to the media ahead of the game today. The Dutchman will no doubt face more questions about his side's struggling form in the league, and the challenge of facing a Sunderland side that remains unbeaten at home this season.
