Liverpool are among the clubs who have contacted the entourage of Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to reports.
TEAMtalk claim that the Reds, Arsenal and Manchester City have been in touch with his representatives ahead of a prospective move this summer.
Most fans on X believe that Tonali would be a good signing, although some doubt Newcastle would be open to doing business with the club once again:

Tonali is looking to leave Newcastle
The Italian international’s agent Giuseppe Riso has made it clear in a recent interview that a move away from St James’ Park can’t be ruled out.
That has sparked interest from other teams, including Arne Slot’s side. Manchester United have been mentioned as potential suitors too, while there is a feeling that Tonali may favour a return to Italy, with Juventus and Inter Milan named as interested parties.
However, Newcastle may demand a fee that is beyond the means of Serie A sides. An asking price of around £100m has been quoted, and that would limit his possible destinations to Premier League clubs.
Liverpool may prioritise other positions
It is up for debate whether the Reds would splash out £100m on a central midfielder. Some would argue that strengthening the club’s options out wide is a greater priority, while others may point to issues in defence.
For now, it appears the interest in Tonali is at a very early stage, and there is no guarantee that a formal offer will be lodged for the 25-year-old at the end of the season.
