Chelsea are back in Premier League action on Tuesday night against Leeds United

Chelsea won 3-1 away at Wolves last time out to boost their Champions League hopes. Cole Palmer scored a hat-trick at Molineux. Liam Rosenior has made a positive impression at Stamford Bridge since he was picked as Enzo Maresca’s exit.

The Blues are positioned in 5th place in the Premier League table after 25 fixtures. They are back in action on Tuesday night at home to Leeds United. Here is a look at their predicted XI to face the Whites....

Chelsea predicted XI to face Leeds United: goalkeeper and defence

GK: Robert Sanchez: Chelsea’s number one will be aiming to get a clean sheet against Leeds. The 28-year-old has made 33 appearances in all competitions already this season, 24 of which have come in the league.

RB: Reece James: The Blues need to make checks on James after his recent illness. If he is well enough to play, he could come in for Malo Gusto.

CB: Wesley Fofana: He has made 14 league outings for the London outfit in this campaign. The 25-year-old joined back in 2022 from Leicester City to boost the defensive department.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah: The centre-back has enjoyed a new lease of life at Chelsea since his return from Crystal Palace in January 2025. He has turned into a useful player to call upon over the last 12 months and is a solid operator.

Chelsea predicted XI to face Leeds United: midfield and attack

CM: Andrey Santos: Chelsea lack depth in the middle of the park and that is something they may need to address in the next transfer window. Santos started against Wolves and the same is likely to happen again Leeds.

CM: Moises Caicedo: The 24-year-old is one of the most talented players in his position in the league. He has played 130 matches since his switch from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2023 and has scored eight goals, five of which have come this term.

CM: Enzo Fernandez: He scored a last-gasp winner for the Blues in their last home fixture against West Ham. The Argentine will be hoping for more of the same against the Whites.

RW: Cole Palmer: The winger will be in confident mood after his three goals against Wolves. He has recently admitted he hasn’t been 100% fit recently.

LW: Alejandro Garnacho: It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Chelsea bring in Garnacho at the top end of the pitch to freshen things up. If that is the case, Pedro Neto could make way to faciliate his inclusion in the team.

ST: Joao Pedro: He has found the net on 12 occasions altogether since the Blues signed him from Brighton last year and he has made a positive impression overall. Liam Delap remains another option for Rosenior to pick from if needed.
