The 38-year-old Australian veteran believes Saras definitely could coach in the NBA, and he wouldn't be surprised if he has already turned down some offers to stay where he loves coaching.

"I think he could, I mean—I'm sure he's already had opportunities," Ingles said in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he turned them down to stay where he obviously loves being a head coach and has proven that he's a great head coach."

Although Ingles joked that he wouldn't like to play for Jasikevicius because he's too crazy.

"I also don't think I would have played for him because he's also crazy (laughs), but I could be his teammate," he said. "Obviously, we were teammates in Barcelona, and the same—I follow Fenerbahçe because of him and I see his skill, the way they play."

"He's doing a great job, winning the EuroLeague and the progress from Zalgiris to Barcelona and now to Fener, so it's incredible, it's amazing to watch. I still talk to him; we text from time to time. I'll have to go to Fener and visit him on the trip," Ingles added.
