The good times stopped rolling for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, as their three-game winning streak was snapped in a118-99 loss to the Orlando Magic to begin a four-game road trip at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
However, the game will also be remembered for being where Cam Thomas made his debut in Milwaukee colors.
Acquired by the Bucks following his release at the NBA trade deadline by the Brooklyn Nets
Thomas got his first basket as a Buck with a little under 10 minutes left in the fourth period. After seeing a hole in the lane on Orlando’s defense, the former LSU Tigers scoring machine attacked the rim and got rewarded an easy bucket that also trimmed Milwaukee’s deficit down to nine points.

Thomas showed a glimpse of what he can do for the Bucks in his debut for the team
Thomas played in only 13 minutes in his Milwaukee debut, as he was still finding his footing within a new system.
But as always, he was not shy to let it go, as he went 1/5 from the field, while adding a rebound and an assist for the Bucks, who are hoping that he’ll give them a kick offensively going forward, especially while Giannis Antetokounmpo is out due to an injury.
Meanwhile, Kevin Porter Jr. led Milwaukee in the loss to Orlando with 28 points on 10/19 shooting, as AJ Green provided 15 points with four 3-pointers.
Thomas will look to make a bigger impact on Wednesday, when Milwaukee faces off against the Magic again, still at the Kia Center.
