Liverpool will hope to return to winning ways when they visit Sunderland in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The Reds were beaten 2-1 by Manchester City in dramatic fashion at Anfield last time out, with Erling Haaland scoring an added-time penalty before Dominik Szoboszlai was sent off in thr 113th minute of the game.
That result left Arne Slot’s side sixth in the table, but the reigning Premier League champions have already fallen five points behind fourth-placed Manchester United in the race for Champions League qualification.
Ahead of their trip to The Stadium of Light, it has emerged that Liverpool are keeping tabs on an impressive Premier League striker.
According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are monitoring Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi ahead of the summer transfer window.
The report claims that Chelsea and Spanish giants Real Madrid have also scouted the France youth international on several occasions this season, while Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also said to hold interest that dates back several months.

The 19-year-old joined the Cherries from French side Lorient in February last year, paying a fee in the region of £10 million to sign the player.
He remained on loan at Lorient for the remainder of last term, before arriving on the south coast ahead of the current campaign.
The teenager is enjoying a fine debut season in England, scoring eight times in 20 Premier League appearances for Andoni Iraola’s side so far this term.
That form hasn’t gone unnoticed, though, and the report claims that Liverpool, Chelsea, PSG, and Real Madrid are all among the clubs interested in the Frenchman.
Kroupi’s contract with Bournemouth is set to run until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, however, which puts the south coast club in a commanding position.
