The 23-year-old wing is expected to take on a major offensive role for the Clippers for the rest of the season.
Mathurin has been one of the bright spots for Indiana, averaging 17.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this season.
Mathurin was traded just before last Thursday’s NBA trade deadline, giving Los Angeles a young scorer to complement their roster.
The Clippers are currently 10th in the Western Conference with a 25-27 record.
