Liverpool are weighing up a potential summer offer for AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttomercatoweb claim that the Reds and Arsenal are “especially” interested in the former Chelsea player after talks over a contract extension failed to materialise.
Pulisic is said to be happy in Milan but he is reportedly disappointed that the Serie A side have not approached him about a new deal.

The 27-year-old’s current contract expires at the end of next season, although the Rossoneri do have an option to extend his stay for another twelve months.
Pulisic is a long-term target for Liverpool
Speaking back in 2018, journalist James Pearce confirmed that Jurgen Klopp “tried and failed” to bring the American international to Anfield. The attempt was made soon after his arrival at the club.
Pulisic had played under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, and while he did not join the German at Anfield in 2016, he did move to England a few years later, with Chelsea snapping him up for €64m before the end of the 2018/19 season.
Injuries led to him departing Stamford Bridge, with Milan taking a chance in him, and they have been rewarded with the forward having scored 42 goals and contributed 25 assists in 120 appearances over the last two and a half years.
A replacement for Diaz is needed
The Reds did not replace Luis Diaz when he was sold to Bayern Munich last summer, and that has proven costly, with Cody Gakpo having not proven as effective in the absence of the Colombian as competition.
Several left-wingers have been linked, including RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, but the club may have a decision to make on what to prioritise if Mo Salah leaves.
The Egyptian will leave a gaping hole on the right wing if he moves to Saudi Arabia, so Pulisic may be seen as a more economical solution to replace Salah, while more money is devoted to the other flank.
