Chelsea are aiming to make it five Premier League wins in a row as they host Leeds at Stamford Bridge this evening
69 days removed from producing their worst performance of the season in the reverse fixture, Chelsea will look to put things right against Leeds and further boost hopes of a top-five Premier League finish. Much has changed for the Blues since that 3-1 loss at Elland Road though, most notably in the dugout with Liam Rosenior replacing Enzo Maresca and overseeing an upturn in results.
Rosenior has guided the Blues to four straight league wins, an FA Cup third round victory and qualification for the Champions League last-16 during his five weeks in charge. Another positive result this evening will move Chelsea to within a point of third-placed Aston Villa and seven clear of Liverpool ahead of tomorrow's games.
The visitors, meanwhile, are bidding to do something they haven't done since 1999 and win this fixture away from home. If they pull of a shock in west London, the reward will be ending the night nine points clear of the relegation zone. Chelsea vs Leeds latest news
Chelsea vs Leeds prediction
This is a tough one to call as while Chelsea are in fine form, Leeds have proven to be a tough nut to crack since their win in the reverse fixture.
That said, Leeds have only won once on their travels in the league this season and we do not expect that to change with Chelsea edging this one.
Chelsea to win, 2-1.
Leeds team news
Leeds did not pick up any fresh injury concerns following their win over Nottingham Forest, leaving manager Daniel Farke with nearly a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Anton Stach is unavailable because of a hip issue, though he could return for the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Birmingham at the weekend.
Pascal Struijk is also sidelined, though top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ilia Gruev should both be fit.

Chelsea team news
Chelsea hope to welcome back Reece James for the visit of Leeds.
The Blues captain has missed the last two games - against Arsenal and Wolves - with what Liam Rosenior described as “a pain management issue.”
Andrey Santos is available despite limping off late on during the win over Wolves, while back-up goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen could return to the matchday squad.
