Lou Williams criticized Duncan Robinson after the Pistons-Hornets fight, questioning his actions during the altercation as the NBA continues to review possible discipline.
The NBA is still waiting on official discipline following Monday night's heated clash between the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets, but discussion around the incident continues to grow.
This time, attention has turned to Duncan Robinson after comments from former NBA guard Lou Williams.
Speaking on FanDuel TV show Run It Back, Williams questioned Robinson's response during the on-court altercation, as video showed the Pistons wing moving away while the situation was still unfolding.
"The only person I'm mad at is Duncan Robinson," Williams said. "The optics are bad, Duncan Robinson. Listen, if there ever comes a time where your teammates acting like they don't trust you, you earned that... you've got to at least go over there and grab a teammate, do something. You can't turn your back on guys when they're squabbling."
The incident occurred in the third quarter after Moussa Diabate fouled Jalen Duren. The exchange quickly escalated, leading to a full-on confrontation.
Diabate, Duren, Miles Bridges, and Isaiah Stewart were all ejected from the game. Bridges escalated the situation on the floor, while Stewart added to the chaos after leaving the bench area.
Robinson has appeared in 50 games, all starts, logging over 28 minutes per game. Robinson is averaging 12.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, while shooting 44 percent from the field, 40.1 percent from three, and 73.9 percent from the free throw line.
