Lakers Make Final Decision on Luka Doncic Status Ahead of Spurs Match

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without their superstar guard Luka Doncic for Tuesday’s match-up against the San Antonio Spurs.

Doncic is ruled out for the contest with his hamstring injury.

The 26-year-old will miss his third consecutive game after he suffered the injury in the first half of Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He limped off the court in the second quarter and that was the last time we saw him on the court.

Doncic continues to be listed as day-to-day with a mild hamstring strain. He will miss Tuesday’s game and his status is up in the air for Thursday’s game against his former team, the Dallas Mavericks. If Doncic misses Thursday’s game against Dallas, he will likely miss the NBA All-Star weekend that will take place in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome.

In the meantime, Austin Reaves will shoulder the load on offense. The 27-year-old has been spectacular all season long, averaging 25.7 points per game, 5.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 50.8 percent from the field in 27 games.
