Mohamed Salah could be closer to leaving Liverpool than ever as a club has reportedly entered talks to sign the star player this summer.
Ever since Liverpool star Salah lashed out at manager Arne Slot following the 3-3 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road in December, the winger has been rumoured to be on his way out of the club.
In recent years, there have been several occasions when it felt that Salah could end his legendary spell at Anfield, with many thinking he could have left last summer before he penned a new two-year deal with the club in April.
Before that, Salah was strongly linked a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al Ittihad notably making a £150million bid for his signature in 2023.
But it appears Salah's exit may now be closer than ever as the Egyptian forward's agent is reportedly holding talks to secure him a move this summer.

It's long been known that the Saudi Pro League are desperate to convince Salah, the biggest Muslim player in the world, to join a club in the competition.
Last year, it is believed that Salah remained completely against the idea as he looked to remain at a top European side for the foreseeable future, leading to him signing a new Liverpool contract.
However, it now seems that the Saudi Arabian league may finally get their top target, as French outlet FootMercato have revealed that Salah has told his representatives to move forward with negotiations for a transfer to Al Ittihad in the summer.
The report claims that Salah is now much more open to a move to Saudi Arabia, and the move could satisfy all parties with Salah set to get a good salary while Liverpool will get a transfer fee.
Meanwhile the move couldn't be more perfect for Al Ittihad, who both of their star players in Karim Benzema, who left for Al Hilal, and N'Golo Kanté, who was sold to Fenerbahce, in January.
Meanwhile the summer is expected to be just as turbulent for the Saudi club, as Fabinho's contract expires in June, while Moussa Diaby has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.

Liverpool name Mo Salah price tag ahead of summer transfer
With Salah's contract set to expire in 2027 and a further extension to his deal all but certain to be off the table, Liverpool cannot expect a similar offer from Al Ittihad to the £150m three years ago.
Instead, a report from Caught Offside has claimed that Liverpool would be willing to accept an offer of as little as €30m (£26m) for the 33-year-old in the summer.
The report claims that Liverpool will not stand in the way of the transfer, and hope to cash in on Salah while he still retains some value.
