Leeds United mounted an astounding comeback to draw 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Leeds came into the contest against Liam Rosenior's side without the ill Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Staach and Pascal Struijk.

It was a difficult first half for Daniel Farke's side. After plenty of warnings, the hosts took the lead when Cole Palmer received the ball between Leeds' lines and threaded a pass through to Joao Pedro, who dinked the ball over the on-rushing Karl Darlow.

The game looked to have been put behind Farke's side when Cole Palmer slotted home an emphatic penalty, after Jaka Bijol shoved Pedro in the back in the area. But the Blues second goal seemed to wake up Farke's side.

The tenacious Jayden Bogle was brought down in the area by Moises Caicedo, allowing Lukas Nmecha to lash a penalty into the back of the net. Noah Okafor, who was dropped to the bench until his second half introduction, then was the beneficiary of some exceptional battling from Bogle.

Bogle forced a loose ball to drop into the path of Okafor, who passed into an empty net to bring Leeds level. Chelsea looked for a winner, but could not breach the Leeds defence for a third time.

At the very end, Chelsea thought they won it, but Palmer sent a Moises Caicedo cross over the bar from only two-yards out. If anything, it was a bit of luck Leeds more than deserved.

Here is how Farke's side rated.

Karl Darlow - Cannot really blame him for the goal as it was a smart finish from Joao Pedro. Was quick off his line to deal with some Chelsea through balls in the first half. 6

James Justin - Found life difficult in the first half, but was a different player after the break. Was given more licence to maraud forward and influence attack, but got back and made some exceptional late challenges. 7

Joe Rodon - Another one who struggled to cope with Chelsea in the first half, but grew after the break. Played more like a quarterback, delivering long pass after long pass. 6

Sebastiaan Bornauw - Lost Pedro's run for Chelsea's goal in the first half and was even left needing treatment after going down while chasing the Brazilian. All all round difficult afternoon for the Belgian who was also booked in the first half. Hooked early into the second half to make way for Noah Okafor - 4

Jaka Bijol - With Leeds hanging in the game in the first half, Bijol suddenly shoved Pedro when there appeared to be little danger. A bizarre and costly decision from the Slovenian. Fortunately for him, his team-mates bailed him out- 4

Gabriel Gudmundsson - Struggled to deal with Estevao's turn of pace and the late runs of Malo Gusto. 6

Ethan Ampadu - Returning to his former club, the Leeds skipper put in a battling display against a physical Chelsea midfield. 7

Ilia Gruev - Battled well but a tough game for Gruev. Did his best in the midfield and showed plenty of heart in the second half. 6

Jayden Bogle - Leeds' star man! His relentless determination, where he effectively held off the Chelsea defence on his own, created the Leeds equaliser. 8

Brenden Aaronson - Given licence to make late runs behind the Chelsea defence after half time. Played a crucial role in stretching the Blues backline. 7

Lukas Nmecha - Took his penalty emphatically, under high pressure. Was left isolated in the first half, but had a greater involvement once Farke tinkered with the system. 7

MANAGER: Daniel Farke - Farke deserves huge praise for his second half changes. The introduction of Noah Okafor changed the game. The German leaves Stamford Bridge having ended a run of seven consecutive losses at Stamford Bridge for Leeds - 9
