Chelsea missed the chance to move to within a point of third-placed Aston Villa in the Premier League table after letting a two-goal lead slip against Leeds on Tuesday.

Joao Pedro continued his red-hot form in front of goal by firing the Blues ahead midway through the first-half with a superb finish after being picked out by Cole Palmer.

Palmer then doubled the home side’s lead early in the second half, successfully converting from the penalty spot after Joao Pedro was pushed over in the box by Jaka Bijol.

However, Leeds found an unlikely route back into the game from the spot after Moises Caicedo had tripped Jayden Bogle and then substitute Noah Okafor equalised to earn a point for Leeds.

More to follow.
