Chelsea are one of the clubs in the picture to sign AFC Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi in the summer.
The Argentina international has been a regular for Bournemouth, playing 27 matches so far this season. He has less than six months left on his contract with Andoni Iraola’s side.
Senesi’s displays and contract situation at Bournemouth haven’t gone unnoticed.
Two days ago, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy of Chelsea, Everton, Crystal Palace and Brighton battling for his signature. Borussia Dortmund have also made an initial approach to sign him. Tutto Juve journalist Mirko di Natale covered this report.
A fresh report from Tutto Juve provides the latest on Chelsea, Juventus and Barcelona. Barring a last-minute twist, Senesi won’t renew his contract with Bournemouth. This makes the 28-year-old a ‘real opportunity’ in the summer,
The centre-back is at ‘peak of his footballing maturity’, after several years in the Premier League. His experience, performances and the time left on his contract at Bournemouth make Senesi an attractive option for top clubs.
Chelsea offer more than Barcelona
Chelsea
Chelsea and other Premier League sides have shown ‘concrete interest’ in him. The report adds Liam Rosenior’s side would have made an offer to the Bournemouth player.
The Blues seem to be offering better financial terms than Barcelona, to try and tempt the player.
Juventus and Barcelona are also chasing the South American. Tutto Juve say his profile fits what the La Liga side are looking for in a new centre-back.
Senesi’s dream is to make a switch to the Camp Nou: ‘The city, the technical project, and the Blaugrana’s style of play are decisive factors in his choice.’
He is willing to wait for Barcelona despite interest from Chelsea, Juve and other clubs.
