Liam Rosenior was far from happy following Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Leeds United on Tuesday.
It is understandable, as the Chelsea head coach watched his side throw away a 2-0 lead at home.
However, Rosenior was also disappointed with the decision not to disallow Leeds’ equaliser, which came after the ball had hit Jayden Bogle’s elbow.

It was a game that had a lot of drama, with Cole Palmer missing a very easy chance at the end of stoppage time.

Mike Dean ‘surprised’ Leeds’ equaliser was allowed to stand
Former Premier League referee Mike Dean has commented on the handball incident. For him, Leeds’ goal should have been disallowed and he was surprised that was not the outcome.
Analysing the situation for Sky Sports, Dean said: “It’s hit Bogle’s elbow. I was surprised it wasn’t disallowed. I can only assume they think it’s accidental.”
Whether there was a handball or not, Rosenior has to be disappointed with some of the defending that he saw before the goal.
What is Chelsea’s biggest weakness? 😟
BlueCo's transfer strategy continues to hamper Chelsea.
For example, Josh Acheampong should have cleared the ball before it reached Noah Okafor. Hopefully it is a lesson that the young defender will learn from.
Rosenior would not have been happy with Moises Caicedo either after he gave away a cheap penalty. In fact, Rosenior has already criticised Caicedo for his poor challenge.

Chelsea’s xG vs Leeds and what it says about the match overall
Despite their sloppy defending, Chelsea still did enough to beat Leeds at Stamford Bridge.
As per Sofascore, Rosenior’s side recorded an xG of 3.13. Leeds’ was only 1.44, so they were quite fortunate to score the same number of goals as their opponents.
According to The xG Philosophy, the chance that Palmer fluffed was worth 0.91 xG. Ultimately, Chelsea should have won that game.
The Club World Cup winners created enough opportunities to score three or even four goals. Of course, had they been a bit tighter in defence, two would have sufficed.
Rosenior has done a superb job since coming in last month. But it is clear to see that there is still much room for improvement.
