The Englishman joined the Catalan team in the last summer transfer window on a season-long loan and has impressed a lot at his new club, despite not being a permanent starter. As a result, the Blaugranes have reportedly already made the decision to keep him permanently beyond the current season.
In this regard, some previous reports suggested that they would try to negotiate with Manchester United to get him for a lower price than the €30 million permanent purchase option they had agreed with them last summer.
However, a report from SPORT now claims that Barcelona understand that the Red Devils would not be willing to budge from this amount. The Premier League side believes this is already a more than reasonable sum for a player of Rashford’s qualities and stature.
