Liam Rosenior’s 100% record as Chelsea manager in the Premier League came to an end in unfortunate circumstances against Leeds United.
The Blues led against their old rivals 2-0 early in the second half, however nightmare defending from the likes of Moises Caicedo and Josh Acheampong allowed their opponents back into the game.
Rosenior admitted his side were unlucky, especially with the fantastic chance spurned by Cole Palmer in the final minutes one he would expect to score.
Chelsea fans – was Rosenior to blame, or was it the players? 😤
Chelsea failed to hold on to a 2-0 lead over Leeds.
Despite this being the first league game that Chelsea have not won with Rosenior in charge, criticism has still been handed the new manager’s way at times.

Wayne Rooney says Liam Rosenior treatment is ‘ridiculous’
It is normally his attitude in the media that is questioned, however this is something which has frustrated Wayne Rooney.
The former Manchester United man, who worked with Rosenior at Derby County, believes he is a ‘fantastic’ coach, and the stick he is getting is ‘sad and unfair’.
He said to The Tippy Tappy Podcast: “Liam’s a fantastic young coach, thinks about the game a lot. And he’s got a big opportunity. I think what’s really sad and unfair in what I’m seeing is, I think he’s won seven out of nine games.
“He’s lost to Arsenal twice, who are top team. And the abuse he’s getting, the stick he’s getting, is ridiculous.”

Rosenior’s very strong start at Chelsea
The total record for the Englishman in charge is seven wins out of 10, still boasting a perfect record in the Champions League up to now.
Has Joao Pedro been Chelsea’s BEST player under Rosenior? 🔥
Even with a small injury…
One of the most promising aspects of his time in charge so far has been the performance levels he has started to get out of some of his key players.
Cole Palmer has five goal contributions in his last two games, and is slowly looking back to his best at a very important time for Chelsea.
Rosenior also seems to have an excellent relationship with Joao Pedro, and this is also coming at Chelsea’s benefit. He has contributed to a goal in every league game under the new manager.
