The football field wasn't the only thing fans had their eyes on during this year's Super Bowl.

For many spectators, their keen observation skills had them noticing subtle shifts in the bodies and faces of famous celebrities, with some branding Lady Gaga as 'Ozempicfied' while others said Ricky Martin appeared 'much younger'.

Now, Daily Mail has spoken to four plastic surgeons to find out which celebrities they believe had procedures before the big game.

Two named Ricky Martin, saying his taut visage, was likely the result of a surgeon's scalpel — but likely not a facelift.

Surgeons also studied images of Lady Gaga amid claims that she may have lost weight using the new blockbuster drugs, while one also said it appeared Jennifer Aniston may have had a subtle lip filler touch-up before the game.

All the plastic surgeons were commenting after viewing photos of the stars online or at the performance. None had the opportunity to examine them in person.

Dr Jimmy Sung, a plastic surgeon at Tribeca Aesthetics, told Daily Mail that stars were now favoring more natural-looking plastic surgery procedures.

He said: 'For Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, one of the reasons they look so good has less to do with the plastic surgery itself and more to do with the fact they are at peace with themselves and their looks, and aren't using procedures to fight it.'

Below are the celebrities who may have had subtle tweaks ahead of the big night:

Lady Gaga

The 39-year-old Applause singer appeared at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside the main headliner Bad Bunny, but her slimmer frame quickly prompted speculation online that she had used Ozempic.

One fan wrote on X: 'Is that Lady Gaga or AI or Lady Ozempic Gaga?'

A second added: 'An Ozempicfied Lady Gaga makes an appearance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show'.

Dr Sung said: 'Lady Gaga is a little thinner, and there is definitely some loss of facial volume. Nowadays, people say that is from Ozempic, but it could also be from getting older, you lose facial volume as you age.

'She leads an active life as a performer, and my guess is that diet and exercise are behind her weight loss.'

Dr Jeffrey Lee, a plastic surgeon at JL Plastic Surgery in Massachusetts, added to Daily Mail: 'Lady Gaga appears to have lost weight overall, including in her face. Her facial volume looks slimmer, and her neck appears slightly looser than in the past, which is consistent with significant weight loss.

'That kind of change can happen naturally, but it’s also commonly seen with GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy.'

He also suggested that she may have had subtle filler in her face to counteract the loss of volume and prevent sagging.

Daily Mail contacted representatives of Lady Gaga for comment, but had not received a response by the time of publication.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, lost 'a lot of weight' in 2024 for her role in the movie Joker, according to her co-star Joaquin Phoenix, who was speaking at a press conference in the same year.

He said: 'Stefani also lost a lot of weight. I remember when I first met you in rehearsals and then you went away for like a month and then you came back, you lost a lot of weight.'

The star has not commented on any use of GLP-1s.

Tom Brady

A plastic surgeon speculated that Tom Brady could have gotten jawline or neck liposuction

Rumors that Tom Brady has undergone plastic surgery first surfaced during last year's Super Bowl when he debuted a thinner frame and face.

And those musings continued after his sideline appearance again at this year's game.

Dr Gina Maccarone, triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon and founder of The Surgeonista, told Daily Mail that based on photos of the athlete, 'subtle jawline or neck liposuction is possible.'

However, she added, 'if he's had anything done, it was likely conservative.'

Dr Brandon Richland, a plastic surgeon in California who has not seen Brady as a patient, told Daily Mail: 'When I look at the recent photos of Tom from the Super Bowl, the first thing that jumps out at me... is definitely a more chiseled, almost skeletal quality to his midface and jawline compared to a few years ago.

'When someone loses a substantial amount of weight quickly, especially in their late 40s, we often see this gaunt look because the fat pads that provide youthful fullness begin to diminish.

'It is very possible that a GLP-1 or a strict change in body composition has contributed to that lean appearance, which can paradoxically make a person look older while appearing leaner.'

Additionally, Richland said the smoothness of his brow area and forehead suggests the use of Botox.

He continued: 'His brow and forehead are also incredibly smooth, which points toward very strategic use of neurotoxins. The goal for a male patient like Tom is to soften the deep furrows while leaving enough movement so the face doesn't look frozen or feminine.

'He still has some character around the eyes, but the lack of heavy "11" lines between the brows suggests he’s keeping up with a regular maintenance routine.'

Brady, 48, has never publicly commented on any use of GLP-1s or plastic surgery procedures.

Daily Mail has reached out to Brady's representatives for comment.

Jennifer Aniston

Aniston was hit with plastic surgery rumors in June 2024 (pictured above) as well, when making an appearance for her show The Morning Show. The then-55-year-old seemingly had a swollen area below her left eye

Aniston appeared for less than a minute at the Super Bowl in an advertisement for Dunkin' Donuts.

But the brief appearance was enough to spark speculation that she may have received lip filler, with one individual saying her lips appeared larger than before.

While part of Aniston's appearance in the commercial was digitally altered to de-age her character, the beginning of the commercial featured present-day Aniston without the de-aging technology.

Dr Raja Mohan, a plastic surgeon in Texas, told Daily Mail: 'From the photos, there is a possibility she had lip filler, and, if she did, it is a small, subtle amount.

'But, there is not clear evidence pointing to her actually having it. Overall, her lips look great and natural.'

Aniston has been hit with plastic surgery rumors before. In June 2024, when making an appearance for her show The Morning Show, the then-55-year-old seemingly had a swollen area below her left eye and puffier lips, with fans saying she looked visibly more 'tired' than usual.

At the time, a plastic surgeon speaking to Daily Mail, who did not see Aniston as a patient, claimed the look was due to a botched cosmetic procedure, or what he described as 'filler gone wrong.'

Dr Richard Devine claimed the swollen area was likely due to too much of the gel-like substance being injected into the tear trough — the area between the lower eyelid and the cheek.

Representatives for Aniston have not responded to Daily Mail's request for comment.

Ricky Martin

The Latino superstar was the center of attention at Sunday's Super Bowl following his surprise appearance where he sang a rendition of Bad Bunny's Lo Que Le Paso a Hawaii.

Online, many viewers were quick to state surprise at how young the 54-year-old appeared, with one saying he compared favorably to Bad Bunny, who is 31.

Lee said: 'It's likely he's had non-surgical treatments such as Botox and fillers, which can significantly refresh someone's appearance without surgery.'

He suggested the star may have had fillers into the mid-face, which can restore volume that is normally lost over time as someone ages, while Botox can help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Sung also claimed to Daily Mail that Martin had fillers, but said he had dissolved some of them compared to previous years to make his face appear more natural.

A representative for Ricky Martin did not respond to a request for comment and Martin himself has not previously commented on plastic surgery claims.
