Mikel Arteta faces the press ahead of his Arsenal side’s Premier League clash with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium. The Gunners have enjoyed an excellent record in West London, winning their last four trips to the Bees’ after that horrible opening day win for then-Thomas Frank’s side in 2021.
Arteta is expected to provide updates on the latest team news with several players in focus. Leandro Trossard came off with a minor issue against Sunderland but there is yet to be an official update on him.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have missed the last couple of matches with hope of both being near a return to action. While Mikel Merino underwent surgery on a broken foot with a return not expected until, at the earliest, very late in the season.
