Karl-Anthony Towns is good at one particular thing that he might not want to be good at.
The New York Knicks' big fella is an expert at fouling out of games.
His latest foul out came Tuesday night. It was the 45th game in his career that he accumulated six fouls and had to sit before it was over.
He's the active leader in the category, the only player over 40, according to StatMuse.

Of course, not all fouls are bad. And if a player properly manages fouls, it's not a big deal usually.
By the same token, it's not ideal for a star player to be out of a game before it's over due to his fouling.
KAT's 45 foul outs work out to between three and four a season out of an 82-game schedule, so that's not too brutal.

For those wondering, LeBron James has only fouled out of four games in his career.
The leader in recent times appears to be Dwight Howard, who fouled out more than 100 times.
KAT is a pretty amusing fouler as far as the neutral basketball fan is concerned. He makes some silly faces.
But he shouldn't be surprised at this point. Towns is a fouler, and that's just the way it works.
