Packers legend Davante Adams draws candid admission from Rams’ Puka Nacua

Whatever happens the rest of the way informer Green Bay Packers star wide receiver Davante Adams, his legacy in Titletown stays intact. He will always be regarded as a legend in Green Bay for all the incredible performances and moments he had during his time with the team.

The 33-year-old Adams inspired a lot of people who saw him suit up for the Packers, and among those is none other than his current Los Angeles Rams teammate and fellow star wideout Puka Nacua.

During an appearance on the “Up and Adams” show before the Super Bowl LX meeting between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, Nacua spoke highly of Adams.

“I think the human being that he is and the understanding of what it takes to create a team environment and have success,” Nacua told host Kay Adams when asked about what Adams brought to his life.

“From the moment he walked in, obviously a Hall of Fame player, I grew up a Packers fan, I wear ankle socks because of Davante Adams,” added Nacua.

What’s next for ex-Packer star wide receiver Adams after first season with the Rams?

Adams still has one more year left on his current contract with the Rams, but it’s unclear whether he’d be back with Los Angeles aftermissing another shot to play in the Super Bowl. The Rams lost to the eventual NFL champs Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

Perhaps what’s not debatable is the idea that Adams can still play even though his best days are behind him already.

In the 2025 campaign, the former Fresno State Bulldogs star led the NFL with 14 touchdown catches to go with 789 receiving yards on 60 receptions through 14 games.

Green Bay wide receiver Adams (17) dives to the end zone over the defense of Tennessee Titans cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (25) during the Packers’ opening drive on December 27, 2020, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.
