Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was among the many impact players on the team in the 2025 NFL season. He missed a lot of games to start the campaign, as he recovered from an ACL injury late in the 2024 season, but when he returned, he made sure to make his presence felt.
Despite playing in only 10 games, the former North Dakota State football star wideout finished second on the team with 611 receiving yards and tied for the most with six touchdown catches.
He had a couple of two 2-touchdown games, as he proved to still be a huge end-zone threat even after his long recovery journey from the aforementioned injury.
Packers’ Watsons appears to be intrigued by PFF’s wide receiver rankings
Pro Football Focus revealed its list of the top 10 highest-graded wide receivers in the 2025 NFL season, and it drew an intriguing reaction from Watson, whose name was not on it.

For what it’s worth, Watson had an 86.7 PFF grade – higher than the grades of five wide receiver on the list.
Meanwhile, Watson’s reaction sparked mixed reactions from fans online.
“What are the qualifications to make this list? Because you should be on there 🤨,” said a fan on X.
Another one said: “I think you have to play more than 5 games in a season, ever. Drink more milk or something idk”
From a commenter: “You technically should be number 6 on these ratings but real fans know you 1. 💪”
“Probably have to be healthy more than 18 snaps a year.,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “I mean say all you want but if mclaurin is on the list so should Christian.”
Said another: “The best thing PFF has ever achieved is their marketing. Just a glorified eye test by people who don’t know ball.”
Watson was signed by Green Bay to a one-year extension in 2025, so he can still prove those who doubt him wrong in the next season, while still in the team’s colors.
