He was previously thought to be dating model Xandra Pohl, but that was dismissed by both parties. The former wide receiver has not said much about his relationship, preferring to stay quiet. A Tumblr post says that the two were spotted together during Julian Edelman’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction.
The relationship has drawn much criticism due to the 19 year age gap between the two. Amendola is not the only Patriots legend who is in such a relationship. Owner Robert Kraft is married to Dana Blumberg and they have a 32 year gap between them, while former head coach Bill Belichick is dating 24-year-old Jordon Hudson and shares a 49 year age gap.
A lot of fans are saying that its a Patriot thing to date women with huge age gaps. Many have attacked both the player and the woman, pointing out that she is in for the money.
