Seattle plans street party

Now, where does a 12 go to party? Or a few hundred thousand 12s?

A victory parade will be held Wednesday celebrating the Super Bowl LX champion Seattle Seahawks, a city spokesperson confirmed late Sunday.

The tentative route will go along Fourth Avenue, starting at South Washington Street near Lumen Field, ending near the Space Needle at Cedar Street.

KING 5, the official broadcast partner for the ceremony, will stream the presentation of the Lombardi Trophy at Lumen Field at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets to watch the trophy presentation in person appeared to sell out within two hours of going on sale.

The parade will follow, with street closures from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The parade is open to everyone, and like the last time the Seahawks won a Super Bowl, hundreds of thousands of people are expected to show up.
