It’s been a crazy month and a bit since Liam Rosenior took over as Chelsea manager.
He’s had to deal with 9 games in that time, meaning barely a day on the training pitch that wasn’t a warm up or a warm down session.
Still, according to the boss, the evidence of his work on the team is clear to see.

“I hope people can see the progression already, considering we’ve [played], what is it, 10-11 games in 30 days,” the manager said in his press conference after the frustrating draw with Leeds last night.
“It’s a clear change and no disrespect to anything that’s happened before. There’s a change in the things I like to see, but what I really want to see is three points on the board every week.”
Would fans agree? We think so. Progress is more of a loaded term, but we see changes in the way the team plays, and that is indeed notable considering how little time Rosenior has had with the players in terms of training.
The best parts of last night, in terms of attacking fluency, combinations and freedom, were up with the very best nights under Enzo Maresca.
If we continue to see development in the next few weeks, when Rosenior has more training time, we’ll be really delighted.

The manager also spoke about the mistake that led to the first goal – he basically blamed Caicedo for his rash tackle without blaming him directly, you can see his sneaky tactic here.
Rosenior’s coaching credentials are strengthening with every good results at Chelsea, but those who knew him before would have said the same thing. Habib Diarra was absolutely glowing in his praise of his former coach in an interview with the Guardian.
