Detroit Pistons star Jalen Duren reportedly will be allowed to participate in the All-Star Game this weekend if he's hit with a multiple-games suspension.
Detroit Pistons star Jalen Duren will not be forced to miss his debut NBA All-Star Game even if he receives a multi-game suspension following the huge brawl in Monday's Pistons-Hornets game.

According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, Duren will be allowed to participate in the All-Star Game even if he is handed a suspension that would sideline him for multiple games.
Duren was at the center of the altercation, which began in the third quarter when Hornets center Moussa Diabate fouled him and went head-to-head with the Pistons star, sparking chaos on the court.
Duren, along with Isaiah Stewart, Diabate, and Miles Bridges, was ejected from the game and is expected to face disciplinary action for his role in the incident.
The 22-year-old Pistons center is set to not only make his All-Star Game debut but also compete in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night.
This season, he has been averaging 17.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, helping the Pistons rank first in the East with a 39-13 record.
