The National Basketball Association announced suspensions on Wednesday stemming from Monday night’s altercation between the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets. Four players were suspended for a total of 17 games.
The Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart and Jalen Duren were banned for seven and two games, respectively, with Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate of the Hornets given four-game bans each.
The league notes that Stewart’s lengthier suspension is due to “his repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.”
