COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State will have 11 players at the NFL Combine later this month in Indianapolis.
The official list of invites for the Buckeyes, released Wednesday morning, was: Running back CJ Donaldson, receiver Carnell Tate, tight end Will Kacmarek, tight end Max Klare, defensive tackle Kayden McDonald, defensive end Caden Curry, linebacker Sonny Styles, linebacker Arvell, cornerback Davison Igbinosun, cornerback Lorenzo Styles Jr. and safety Caleb Downs.
The Buckeyes have the third-most invitees to the combine this year, behind only Texas A&M (13) and Alabama (12). A total of 319 prospects were invited.
Ohio State had 14 players selected in last year’s NFL Draft. It fell just one selection short of the all-time record set by Georgia in 2022. While this year likely won’t be as fruitful, the Buckeyes are still set to have a host of players selected.
Currently, Reese, Tate, Downs, Styles and McDonald are all projected to be first-round draft choices. If all six end up picked in the first 32 selections, the Buckeyes will tie the NFL Draft record, set by Alabama (2021) and Miami (2004).
This year’s NFL Scouting Combine will be from Feb. 23 through March 2 in Indianapolis.
