FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The NFL has released their full list of draft prospects invited to the combine in Indianapolis. Among those included are a couple of NDSU’s finest in quarterback Cole Payton and standout Wide Receiver, Bryce Lance.
Cole Payton was consistently atop the QB leaderboard in efficiency this season racking up 2719 yards through the air on 72% completion which was good for 2nd in the FCS. The dual-threat QB also wrecked havoc on the ground tallying 777 total yards and 13 touchdowns rushing.
Wide Receiver Bryce Lance was on the national radar early being on the Walter Payton Award watchlist and eventually finished 12th when the season reached it’s completion. The FCS All-American first teamer racked up a career high in yards with 1079 on 24 less receptions than last year.
The draft combine takes place from February 23 to March 2 in Indianapolis.
