A complete guide to watching the main fixtures as attention turns to the FA Cup fourth round.
Founded in 1871, The FA Cup is the oldest domestic cup competition in world football and it’s renowned for its ability to produce drama, intrigue, excitement and of course giant killing results.
This weekend marks the fourth round stage of the competition as Premier League leaders Arsenal, eight-time winners Liverpool and Chelsea, and six-time winners Newcastle United all aim to progress into the latter stages of the competition. Here we summarise all the main fixtures to watch out for this weekend and, crucially, where to watch them.
FA Cup fourth round televised fixtures
Friday 13 February: Chelsea travel to the MKM Stadium to face Liam Rosenior’s former side Hull City at 7.45pm. Rosenior spent five years of his career as a defender for the Tigers and was part of the team which won promotion in 2013 under Steve Bruce before reaching the FA Cup final a year later. The 41-year-old also managed Hull between 2022 and 2024 and was nominated for the Manager of the Season award in his final campaign in charge before being controversially sacked by owner Acun Ilicali.
That match is televised live on BBC One and TNT Sports simultaneously and can also be streamed on the BBC iPlayer or the Discovery + app along with the BBC Sport website. Similarly, Ipswich’s match with nouveau-riche Wrexham is live at the same time on BBC Wales or on TNT Sports 5, with all the same streaming providers offering coverage.
Saturday 14 February: Football fans are treated to three live matches on Valentines Day, starting with West Ham’s trip to Burton Albion at 12.15pm. That match is live on TNT Sport and can be streamed on the Discovery + App.
At 5.45pm, attention then turns to an all Premier League affair between last year’s FA Cup semi-finalists Aston Villa and 2025 Carabao Cup winners Newcastle United. The match is one of the glamour ties of the round and it’s going to be shown simultaneously on BBC One and TNT Sports. Premier League holders Liverpool host Brighton at 8pm on TNT Sport 1 as the Reds look to try and win the competition for the ninth time in their history.
Sunday 15 February: Birmingham City host Leeds United at 12pm. Chris Davies’ side boast a formidable home record which they’ll look to try and use to their advantage against the Premier League side.
Wolves travel to Grimsby Town at 1.30pm with the aim of trying to give their fans a welcome distraction from what has been an horrific league season, while Oxford United host 1973 winners Sunderland in the 2pm kick-off with the hopes of staging an upset against a team that has struggled at times on the road.
Stoke City’s home match with Fulham will also be shown live at the same time, while the late afternoon match at 4.30pm sees league leaders Arsenal - the most successful team in FA Cup history - play host to 2013 winners Wigan Athletic. All these matches are live on TNT Sport and streamed on the Discovery + app.
Monday 16 February: The final live match of a thrilling FA Cup weekend sees National League North side Macclesfield Town play host to European hopefuls Brentford in yet another David versus Goliath battle.
Macclesfield notably defeated holders Crystal Palace in the last round to progress to this stage of the competition and are aiming to generate an incredible atmosphere at home as they target yet another upset. That one kick-offs at 7.30pm on TNT Sport and is streamed on the Discovery + app.
