Four players were ejected after a heated altercation began when Detroit’s Jalen Duren and Charlotte’s Moussa Diabate exchanged words following a foul. The situation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation on the court.

The situation escalated further when Isaiah Stewart stormed from the bench after Miles Bridges continued to engage Duren in a physical manner.

Isaiah Stewart (DET): 7 games

The NBA suspended Stewart for seven games for his role in a bench-clearing altercation against the Hornets.

The suspension stems from Stewart leaving the bench to join the fight. The league cited his repeated unsportsmanlike conduct as the primary reason for the severe penalty, the harshest issued among the four players involved.

Miles Bridges (CHA): 4 games

The NBA suspended Bridges for four games due to his involvement in a bench-clearing brawl with the Pistons.

Bridges was found to have escalated the conflict by fighting Pistons players while Duren was heading to his bench. Bridges ran across the court ot throw a punch.

Moussa Diabate (CHA): 4 games

The NBA suspended Diabate for four games for his role in an altercation with the Pistons.

The league cited Diabate for “fighting and escalating the altercation,” which began after he committed a defensive foul on Detroit’s Jalen Duren.

Jalens Duren (DET): 2 games

The NBA suspended Duren for two games for his involvement in a court-related altercation with the Hornets.

Duren was suspended after being cited for "initiating the altercation and fighting." After Diabate committed a foul in the third quarter, Duren approached him, pushed him in the face, and triggered the brawl.

Is Jalen Duren suspended for the NBA All-Star Game?

The suspension is effective immediately and will not affect Duren’s participation in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, for which he was recently selected as a first-time reserve.

Duren will miss the Pistons’ road games against the Toronto Raptors before the All-Star break, as well as their game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden after the break.
