The NBA has suspended Detroit Pistons star Isaiah Stewart for seven games after he left the bench and got into a fight while helping teammate Jalen Duren during Monday's game against Charlotte, Sports Illustrated reports.

Duren was suspended for two games.

The incident started when Charlotte’s Moussa Diabaté fouled Duren as he attempted a shot in the third quarter, Sports Illustrated reported. The two got in each other’s faces, and Duren shoved Diabaté in the face with his right hand. A fight ensued.

Duren was walking away when Charlotte's Miles Bridges ran up to him and threw a left-handed punch, sparking another fight.

Stewart then left the bench to attack Bridges, who threw a punch. Stewart put Bridges in a headlock and at one point landed multiple punches to his head, the sports publication reports.

Bridges and Diabaté were suspended for four games.
