Defensive lineman Keion White addressed the public for the first time since being shot in the ankle early Monday morning, posting an update on Instagram that he’s recovering well from successful surgery but offering no comment on reports linking the incident to an argument with rapper Lil Baby.
In his Instagram post (shared Tuesday night), White wrote: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with their prayers and concerns on my behalf. I’ve undergone successful surgery.”

He accompanied the message with a photos showing him in good spirits, smiling and signaling positivity despite the non-life-threatening injury. White added: “Full steam ahead” — indicating a strong mindset for recovery as the offseason begins.

An argument at Dahlia’s nightclub on Mission Street around 4 a.m. Monday, after Lil Baby’s entourage attempted to enter White’s private event downstairs.
A witness leaving to get management help, then hearing two gunshots and finding White shot in the ankle/leg.
