Brentford injury news

Brentford have four players who are all going to miss the game on Thursday night. Firstly, Fabio Carvalho remains out for the remainder of the season with a serious knee injury, and is unlikely to make the start of next season either.

Furthermore, Antoni Milambo is also out for the rest of the season, with a similar ACL injury which forced him to have surgery.

Finally, Josh Da Silva is out with a knee injury, and has been for the majority of the season. He is set to return in February, but not until later in the month, which is a big shame.

Ahead of the game, there are three Arsenal players who have been ruled out, with two names currently being assessed. Firstly, Mikel Merino will be out for the majority of the rest of the season, with an ankle issue.

Max Dowman will also miss the game on Thursday, as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. But the positive is that he’s close to returning to training. Bukayo Saka remains out too as he has a hip injury. – he should be back for the North London derby though.

In terms of doubts, Martin Odegaard is being assessed as things stand, it isn’t clear whether he will be ready or not, but Arteta may be cautious and avoid starting him. Leandro Trossard is dealing with a minor issue with his muscle too, so is listed as a doubt.
